This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It applies to every page on jsvision3ps.com, including our contact form and our customer survey.
1. Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
Registration number: ΗΕ 403021
Liosion 2-4, Shop 1, 6018, Larnaca, Cyprus
Email: jsvision3pscoltd@gmail.com
Phone: 96321456
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 of the GDPR. For any question about this policy, write to us at the email address above.
2. What data we collect
Contact form
When you send us a message we collect your first and last name, your email address, the service you selected and the content of your message.
Customer survey
When you complete our survey we collect your name, and — if you choose to provide them — your building or property, your email address and your role. We also collect your star ratings, any comments you write, your answer on whether you would recommend us, and whether you asked us to contact you back.
Technical data
Our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. This is generated by the web server itself and is used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for and do not want special category data — information about health, religion, political opinions or similar. Please do not include such information in your messages or survey comments.
3. Why we use your data, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (GDPR Article 6) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quotation | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Managing your building under our service agreement | Performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Understanding your feedback and improving our services | Our legitimate interest in measuring and improving service quality — Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Contacting you about your survey answers, where you asked us to | Your consent, given by ticking that box — Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Loading the Google map on our contact page | Your consent, given by clicking "Show the map" — Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Keeping the website secure and available | Our legitimate interest in protecting our systems — Art. 6(1)(f) |
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it to anyone.
4. How long we keep it
- Contact form enquiries: 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you become a client — in which case the data is kept for the life of our agreement and for the retention period required by Cyprus tax and company law.
- Survey responses: 24 months, after which they are deleted from our mailbox and from our response file.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for a short period as part of their standard operation.
You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time — see section 7.
5. Who your data is shared with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and our business, and only to the extent they need it:
- Our web host: stores the website files and processes the forms.
- Google (Gmail): receives and stores the emails generated by our forms.
- Google Maps: only if you accept the map on our contact page. Google then receives your IP address and may store identifiers on your device under its own privacy policy.
- Contractors and tradespeople: where a repair or maintenance request requires it, and only the details needed to carry out the work.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so, for example to a public authority or a court.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Some of our providers are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or by another safeguard permitted under Chapter V of the GDPR. You can ask us for details of the safeguard used.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018 you have the right to:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where we no longer need it.
- Restriction — ask us to pause our use of your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Objection — object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest.
- Portability — receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time. This does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at jsvision3pscoltd@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner. The only third-party content is the map on our contact page, and it stays unloaded until you choose to see it. We use only the following:
| What | Purpose | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|
jsv_consent |
Remembers that you asked to see the map, so we do not ask again | No — strictly necessary |
| Google Maps | Displays our office location on the contact page | Yes — the map only loads when you click to show it |
Once you have shown the map, your browser remembers it and loads it on your next visit. You can withdraw that permission at any time with the button below, or with the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer.
9. Complaints
If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, please contact us first — we would rather fix it directly. You also have the right to complain to the Cyprus supervisory authority:
P.O. Box 23378, 1682 Nicosia, Cyprus
www.dataprotection.gov.cy
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or our legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on our home page.
